Hero section types and content sources
The Hero section offers flexibility to help you highlight your key content. You can choose between a static Hero with a background image and HTML content overlay or a slider Hero to add dynamic, eye-catching visuals.
For the slider, you have full control over the content source, allowing you to choose what appears in your Hero section. You can feature content from a variety of sources to suit your needs best, including:
- Latest posts
- Featured posts
- Posts from selected tags
- Selected posts
- Selected pages
Advanced slider options
Take your Hero slider to the next level with various customization options. You can enable fade mode for smooth transitions or adjust the slide transition duration to control the speed. Enhance user interaction with features like drag-free mode, looping, and parallax effects to create a sense of depth.
The slider also supports:
- Autoplay with adjustable intervals
- Mouse wheel gestures for easier navigation
- Dot navigation for a quick overview of slides
- Previous/Next buttons for manual control
For developers, additional CSS class names can be applied to each slide for easier styling and custom control.
Light and Dark color modes
The Mellisa theme offers two color scheme modes: Light Mode and Dark Mode. You can select your preferred mode or choose the Auto option, which automatically adjusts the color scheme to match the user’s operating system settings. If the operating system doesn’t support auto-detection, the theme will default to Light Mode.
You can customize the color scheme directly from the UI or modify the CSS variables. The UI allows quick adjustments to primary and secondary colors without touching the code, while advanced users can create completely custom color schemes by editing the CSS.
Make your blog even more unique
Mellisa delivers two different ways to showcase your posts on any pages they are listed. Go for the classic speed and readability of the list view or a fancier grid. As you’d expect, post listings have just as much customization available as your front page; set spacing between items, define the number of grid columns, change widths, switch between several post separators, and set a preferred pagination style.
Additional templates
Repetitive pages can get a bit boring, so to make each part of your site unique and identifiable we’ve included three different templates for Mellisa’s post and pages, and two for tag and author pages, allowing you to give each type a sense of identity so that users know exactly where they are on your site.
Newsletter sign-ups made easy
Newsletters are a great way to stay in touch with your regular users, so an easy-to-use, unobtrusive way to sign-up for your updates is a must. Mellisa includes a fully-customizable newsletter pop-up, letting you define your own form code and then choose when it will appear; whether that’s after a time-delay, when a user scrolls a certain distance down the page, or a combination of the two.

Is this a subscription?
No. Every purchase is a one-time payment. We do not renew your access or charge you automatically. Your purchase includes 12 months of access to product files and updates and three months of technical support.
What happens when my 12 months of file and update access expire?
You can continue using the downloaded theme or plugin without a time limit, subject to its license terms. However, you will no longer be able to download the product or access new updates.
When your access expires, we will send you an email reminder. For the following 60 days, you can renew your access for another 12 months using the link in that email or the "Renew" option in your User Panel. A 50% discount is applied automatically during this renewal period.
After the 60-day renewal period ends, the discounted renewal option will no longer be available. To regain access to the product files and updates, you will need to purchase the product again at its regular price.
Renewal restores access to product files and updates for another 12 months but does not include a new technical support period.

How is VAT calculated, and can I receive an invoice?
Any applicable VAT is calculated during checkout based on the information you provide. The final price, including any applicable VAT, is displayed before you place your order.
To receive an invoice, select the "I want an invoice" option during checkout. Once issued, the invoice will be available in your User Panel, and we will notify you by email.
Are premium plugins included?
Premium plugins are not included with this theme. You can purchase them separately from the Publii Marketplace.
Can I cancel my purchase or request a refund?
Our products are digital content delivered immediately after payment. When delivery begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgment, you may lose your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase.
